Support Us

The Trust currently supports a number of awards, bursaries, scholarships and competitions for young dancers and teachers out of its own resources.  Links to these are shown below:

If you choose to support the Cecchetti Society Trust, every donation counts, and every donor makes a difference.  If you are an individual or organisation that share our passion for excellence in dance and Cecchetti in particular, you can help us in a number of ways:

DONATIONS

The Trust welcomes donations of any value, but the examples below give an indication of what a donation might provide:

£30 would purchase a ticket to attend a Cecchetti Event for a Cecchetti volunteer
£60 would support a teacher to attend a training course in person or online
£100 would pay a pianist or teacher for a day of Scholars classes
£300 would provide an annual Scholarship for a Cecchetti Scholar
£500 would provide a Bursary for a student or teacher to attend a Cecchetti Summer School
£1,000 would provide a Bursary for a talented young dancer to attend a Cecchetti International competition
£2,000 either singly or annually would enable a Donor to have their support of a Competition Award acknowledged in event publicity
£5,000 could go towards particular projects or events eg filming the Cecchetti work with professional dancers or producing a legacy resource

Donations are usually one-off, but a regular gift will allow us to plan for the future with confidence.  Regular gifts can occur monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly and any amount you can commit to contribute will make a huge impact.

The Trust does not usually specify how a gift will be used.  If you wish, donations can be kept anonymous, earmarked for a particular aspect of the Trust’s work of special interest to you e.g., supporting young dancers, supporting teachers, Cecchetti Scholars, the Cecchetti Centre, Cecchetti Performance Awards, educational events and heritage projects; or set up in the name of a favourite teacher.

Are MY DONATIONS eligible for Gift Aid?

The Trust is a registered charity.  If you are a UK tax payer your gift would be eligible for Gift Aid and this increases the value of your donation by 25% to the Trust. 

LEGACIES

Legacy gifts help to underpin the finances of the Trust, to widen its level of support to the Cecchetti community, and to secure the future of Cecchetti for the next generation of young dancers and teachers. Legacies can honour the memory of a loved one, as a teacher, practitioner or supporter of Cecchetti, and by choosing “in-memoriam giving” or “‘tribute giving’ their name can be remembered.
