The Cecchetti Society Trust Presents
From Studio to Stage
From Studio to Stage presented by the Cecchetti Society Trust took place on 14th May 2023 at The Royal Ballet School, Covent Garden. The programme for the afternoon showcased a range of work supported by the Trust.
Guest participants included Trust Patron and former Director of The Royal Ballet, Dame Monica Mason; Laura Morera, Principal of The Royal Ballet; Peter Parker former Principal Northern Ballet and Ballet du Rhin; Gerald Dowler dance author and Brandon Lawrence, Principal, Birmingham Royal Ballet. Young dancers performing were the Cecchetti Classical Ballet Scholars and students from UK vocational training schools who won prestigious Trust Scholarships in 2022/23. Elisabeth Swan, Chair of the Trust introduced the afternoon and warmly welcomed the audience of teachers, students, parents and public.
